Every third failure will grant a successful level up.
You can continue to roll after hitting the final level if you are seeking a defect.
If you fail to roll a defect after 20 successes, you may request the Wind-Torn Shape item via claim with the trained character attatched. The design must be updated to have the defect visible before Defect Bonuses can be applied.
