About Kol

Kol is as large as he is lovable, loud, and present. They are reputable in power and focus, seeming overwhelming in power like the ocean. He has a loud and boastful tone, yet he is not prideful of his power by any means. In fact, they can be extremely shy and modest regarding it. When spectating them, he is a quiet and reserved character when not around those he knows, sometimes even behaving a little clumsy with his day-to-day acts. He goes about most of life with a peaceful contentment, but when there is a group gathered you can often imagine he’s at the center of it asking about everyone and how they are doing with full genuine curiosity and enjoyment.
Kol can sometimes be a bit of a coach more than a teacher, pushing his apprentices into the deep end allowing his apprentices to make obvious mistakes and accept them. To Kol, a mistake is the most important part of the process in learning how to grow from it and face the fears of failure.

All-embracing and abundant, water magic is intrinsic to life and a nearly unstoppable force. Those who use it are often seen as all-loving and easily adaptable people, but also strong-willed. If not tempered it can become overwhelming or start to control that which surrounds it, forcing the world to adapt to its own course.

Individuals who wield water also tend to be refreshing in personality; giving new life and course to conversations and activities that might have otherwise dithered away. They understand the important role that water plays in every living thing, and must familiarize themselves with the harm that could be caused if this magic is used discordantly.

Levels:
  • 0 -- Affiliated -- Cannot yet use water magic
  • I -- Existing water can be manipulated to change its direction or flow on a small-scale, such as within a cup or pool.
  • II -- Fluids within other things (such as plants or underground reservoirs) can be drawn out to gather a larger source of water. Larger bodies of water can begin to be manipulated.
  • III -- Can seemingly change the density and/or pressure of water; enabling an individual to move through it or become blocked within. This can also be used to form ‘spears’ of water to attack with, as well as large waves.
  • Defect -- You have forced your body to adapt too much to Water, and now your form knows only that. Parts of your body are constructed purely of tense water.
