Raith is an original emerger from the Alternate World. He is condemned for killing many upon exiting the rift and even past the war, including cannibalizing. Many years later, his rage has subsided and he currently lives a lonely life as he isn't allowed to integrate into society due to his past actions. Many call him a hermit.

Eventually, he happens upon Nalin, who becomes the only creature to consider him a friend despite his past actions. Because of this, he is extremely protective to the naive cccat, to the point where first meeting Sam they clash in a fight until Nalin breaks them up.

He is grateful for Nalin's kindness, and is trying to become more conversive with the newer friends he is making.
