Nalin is a very rambunctious and exciteable cccat. He can seem dumb on first contact, but it's only because of his aloof personality. He lives on a beach by an expansive ocean, preferring the water to land. He is a very caring and trustworthy individual. His caring disposition gets him in trouble quite often since it leads him to caring and helping others who could be a potential danger.

Nalin considers Sam his friend after he saved him from drowning in his ocean after his spaceship crashed. 

Raith crook friend/SO: Nalin happens upon Raith by a stroke of luck on the beach, instantly yapping to him and taking a liking to him. As Raith is subtly eager to have conversations once again, he continues to meet with the cat, to where Nalin considers him a great friend and eventually perhaps more.
