☀️Mini-Roadmap☀️

  • MAINSTAY PROMPTS -
    • We aim to have some more mainstay weekly and monthly prompts as time goes on! 
    • Additional Art Types - additional art types are under discussion and consideration by the team! We've had a few suggestions in the way of prompts that allow expansion into headshot or stylized (ex: black and white art). Payout and other considerations for these prompts are WIP. Some options are under consideration for adjusting prompts to allow for multiple characters and extra words but this is currently still under discussion as team members are available
  • MINI PROMPTS - We aim to release more mini limited prompts, which means shorter term/one time prompts that are not fully monthly/lore prompts. Our first full mini prompt is currently out! 
  • MENTORSHIP - Mentorship is going through an update! Pasta has been working very hard on the backend to create an EXP based system for magic rolls. Magic will be expanded so that each form can posses their own magic, and magic can be trained through means beyond just mentorship. EXP will be a way to train a character's magic centrally and keep loot rewarding simple while making the ability to level up these individual forms possible. A big motivator was the the ability to create a clearer separation between multi-forms and make that smoother. Current mentors will eventually be switched over to this system and newer mentors are paused for release until then.  This is ideally what we hope to release next! Big thank you to Pasta, these preview images are courtsey of them! Please note that the numbers shown are not the final numbers and are used merely for testing purposes.

   

  • CRAFTING/GATHERING - Crafting is a big next-step and priority for the team, and one of the more extensive, if not the most. Overall, there are a lot of interlinking pieces required for crafting, mainly in the way of distributing materials, which also heavily factors into the balancing of recipes. Materials will become drops from multiple different locations across the site, from prompts, to dailies, to boxes, and more! Certain existing items are also planned to be included in recipes, such as wards and trait items. Drop rates and overall math for this is an ongoing process alongside art assets.
    • Gathering Prompts - Gathering prompts will be one of the main places to seek and hunt for crafting materials. Different locations will drop different items, and as well we aim to have magic and items influential in this process as well.  Prompts and their respective drop mechanics will also be influenced by items, assistance, and more.
    • Fishing Prompts - Similarly to the above, fishing prompts will also be conducted similar to gathering, for specifically fish-related materials.  
    • Crafting Recipes - Recipes are in progress! They will not all be released at once, and may cycle, earned through prompts, etc. They will also incorporate existing items such as wards and trait items.
    • Dailies - There will ideally be other methods of daily, weekly, or other span of time means of getting resources in a gathering/fishing mentality or item pool beyond prompts, but until crafting is more realized and working, these systems may not be applicable until after.
    • Assets - We have most assets completed for crafting items themselves, but each of the respective mechanics and their smaller sub-mechanics (Items, Dailies, Prompts, Shops, and more) and other necessary assets may prove to be necessary, so will be tackled if not already present. (italics is what is newly added)
  • TOUCHED TRAITS - Touched Traits are at current in progress regarding their release, but we know community wise folks are excited for this! We are taking this slow to assure that we can keep their release balanced and assure it is not rushed, and priority is secondary to crafting. Touched traits may come from multiple different areas from the site. The focus will be on items primarily that grant specific traits, but Touched Tickets are still planned! Touched Tickets are still a planned item, though it may not be a shop-specific item like the other tickets. It's unsure yet how we will most likely go about these, but if made to keep tickets being harder to obtain, then we hope to make the specific items a bit more accessible than the ticket in contrast.
    • Secondary Currency - Balanced and earned alongside standard prompts. Implementing Ichor as a secondary currency is currently priority as it as well provides us more ways to expand upon prompt payout and art types, as well as potentially extended prompt payouts. To clarify, this will not be a paid currency nor will it be earnable via USD, and will be able to be exchanged user to user. 
    • Crafting - Crafting is planned as one of the potential options for crafting touched trait items.
    • Events/Prompts/Drops - We've currently been pre-releasing more touched drops during events. Prompts are under consideration as other potential avenues. 
  • MORE - 
    • Trait Updates - Gravents and Pods are still in need of their go-through for trait updates. These updates tend to take time due to admin conversation and consensus regarding any updates. Trait additions and suggestions are widely discussed during these updates!
    • Item-Specific Traits - One of the things we have been fiddling with is the concept of certain traits that can only be obtained via an item gained through ARPG currency, crafting, prompt, and/or progress. These traits are so-far concepted to be unique, in that they are not able to be put on by other means and operate with specific alternative ideas. These trait ideas have been concepted to not reduce existing traits, but expand on more opportunities for new traits. One of such examples would be a Toggle trait, where other traits or aspects of the design can be toggled between present and not - ie: from a standard trait like horns to potentially allowing magic defect to be toggled. [Both this concept of item-specific traits and the description of a toggle trait can change as its in concept phase, but worth mentioning and giving example of an idea!]
    • Achievements - Cumulating achievements are something we hope to implement at some point (ex: completing the gift art prompt X amount of times gives a badge that scales up at higher completion thresholds). We would hope to retroactively grant these to those who have already met the criteria before implimentation, and then further as time goes on once released.
    • Ichor Beast Battles / Bosses - a routine challenge everyone can participate in to take down a boss and earn rewards both for those who helped and those who were around and can claim the after-battle spoils after it has been taken down. Part of this idea is scoped down for the previously mentioned ichor currency to routine prompt ideas, but we would also like to scope for the boss battle systems as a whole. So you may see an early version or multiple versions of this concept, but it has a larger scale idea as well for later use if found possible.

As we continue to expand on mechanics and features of the ARPG, species, and the site, there is potential for change in aspects put out in the site. We appreciate and value the input given our way, and it is with hope we can make things easier or more fun, but since we're learning as we go it will occasionally have hiccups as we try things out!
