Bana eagerly anticipates for the spooky season as the sun’s rays shine upon their soft fuzzy coat. When sunrise draws in, the energetic CCCat jumps from their slumber and sprints over to their desk, quickly lifting up a pencil, and begins to jot down some ideas for their costume. However as the pencil touches the white sheet of paper, Bana hesitates for a moment and wonders what they should make. Uncertain, Bana sketches out an violet witch outfit, decorated with a variety of flowers and a small golden bell attached to the tip of the hat. The CCCat slowly began to feel doubtful of the concept and eventually erased it, leaving the paper back to its original blank state. Bana huffed to themselves but slowly calmed down and went back to thinking of another idea. This time Bana roughly sketches down a silver werewolf outfit with a smoky gray coat but that too was erased off the paper. Frustrated, Bana hissed to themselves, annoyed as each concept of their costume was inevitably erased.
Exasperated, Bana got up from their seat and angrily paced around the room, ruminating costume designs as the Sun began to slowly set. Unexpectedly through their intense brainstorming, Bana thought of the perfect idea and rushed to their desk once more, quickly scribbling what they wanted to make. The sketch depicted Bana wearing a soft fluffy lizard costume with a neon blue head, bead eyes, and a small silver bell attached to the outfit’s collar. Thrilled with motivation, Bana immediately went to work on their costume, grabbing teal and dark indigo minky fabric, sewing supplies, and two large googly eyes from their crafting closet. They then arranged it neatly onto their desk, tracing and cutting out the fabric pieces needed for the outfit. Once they’ve gotten the required fabric pieces, Bana carefully sews the seams together, making sure everything is in place. As they playfully prancing around, they glanced towards their window and realized that it’s getting dark. The CCCat’s hopping slowly ceased and they began to look for stuff they may need for their journey. They searched through their cluttered closet to find something to put their belongings in and found a white cat-shaped bag with glimmering bead eyes and a golden zipper. Unzipping their bag, Bana placed several prized possessions they wanted to bring with them on their trip, mainly consisting of small vibrant trinkets like keychains, a plastic pouch filled with sour gummy worms, and a purple flashlight with spare batteries.
Once they’ve collected all of their belongings for their long trip, Bana zipped up their cat bag and carefully adjusted their outfit one more time in front of the mirror. Before they rushed outside to begin their travel, they waited inside a little while till the moon began to rise so there’ll be enough light to see in the dark. When the moon glistened in the night sky, Bana zoomed out of the room and quickly unlocked the door, stepping outside to feel the chilly breeze against their face. Before departing, Bana decorated their house with a variety of lit candles, soft-glowing lanterns, and an array of string lights radiating a soft purple light. Satisfied by the decor, they closed their door and descended into the gloomy forest, beginning their journey.
